Great day at church on Sunday. We continued our Missions Month with a look at our need to have an “end of the earth” perspective along with a solid foundation. We held a Jenga contest with different sets of rules. One group could only build a Jenga tower with the blocks placed end to end. Another group of builders could only build on the sides. The final group could do whatever they wanted. Obviously the towers with the strongest foundations were the highest. We need to be reminded that a strong foundation right here at ZUB enables us to extend our reach around the world.

We will conclude Missions Month next Sunday as we talk about supporting our missionaries, and the organizations we partner with, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I think that we are often good at one or two of these but we sometimes drop the ball on others. If we are going to do our best we can’t let things slip through the cracks. We want our missionaries to know we are behind them 100%.
