Praying
Last Sunday we had a great time of worship including a powerful prayer time where we able to do some serious praying for some of the needs in our community. It was great to see people caring for each other like that. We also spent time remembering the people of Haiti as they deal with the tragedy there.
For the most part I think everyone did a good job but I’m quite sure a few Colts fans were offering up a few “side” prayers too. I’m not sure how their theology explains how God chooses between their prayers and the prayers of Jets fans but at least they were praying.
On Tuesday we will begin our Financial Peace University class. On Wednesday Kid’s Club will start meeting in the Fellowship Hall were they will have more room. And the Esther Bible Study will be going over their first lesson on Thursday. This coming Sunday Kevin Smith will be speaking about what John the Baptist tells us about living out our faith. Looks like a great week ahead.
