The youth group held its first meeting of the year Sunday evening. The last time we met was on December 30 and we used it as a fun night. That meant spending the evening playing games on a Wii hooked up to a big screen projector. This week we were back to our regular schedule. continue
The Men’s Group continued its run of spending the first Saturday of every month working at Camp Cotubic. Seven guys made the trip, leaving at around 7AM and returning around 6 PM. Work continued on the staff house that has been the focus for our church this year. continue
© 2006-2010 Zanesville United Brethren ChurchOur church is made up a lot of smaller sized groups. This is great because in large groups it is usually only the extroverts that get things off their chests. Smaller groups allow for everyone to be involved in the conversation and activities.
You will find a wide variety of small groups at ZUB. Some are task oriented. These groups meet for a specific purpose like facilitating worship. Other groups are more general and are designed to to facilitate the building of relationships.
We encourage everyone to get involved in at least one smaller group where they can know others in the group and be known. This is all part of “loving one another” and we believe that is one of our key roles as a church.
